    Description: This is a simple Android application which detects other installed applications which appear to use the AirPush ad framework. As of this writing, the framework provides no obvious means to tell which app is generating the highly obtrusive notification-based ads.

    There is a nrw feature in JB: you can long press a notification to bring you to the Settings Applications for the app that produced it.

    By the way: I asked the author by mail for a license and he licensed it under the Apache License 2

    After that agreement I integrated his code into AdAway.

    Now I’m hestitating about this. Even though it has 12,000 stars on the other website, this really only encouraging people to download dubious apps, that won’t be found in f-droid.

    I think it should be added to the repository. It is open source and does what it says on the can.

    How about flagging it with “Promotes non-free add-ons”?
