There is a setting in this to use your own oauth bits, which means we can build this without keys..

Oh yeah, it uses Google maps but in a web view or something so it can be installed.

The Rest API url can be changed to use identi.ca authenticating with basic or oauth.(oauth doesn’t work at the moment though). Supports Twip O api proxy. Two paned tablet ui.

    Source also at: https://github.com/mariotaku/twidere

There is no donation page but he does take Paypal and is soliciting money to upgrade his development box which has only 1gb ram.

If you were using Twitter did you manage to use your own oAuth key/secret? I couldnt get it to work. Its a newfeature so maybe its broke.

Trying to find an address that works for Identi.ca search. https://identi.ca/api/search doesnt.

Twitter didn’t work on mine either. It created the account, but couldn’t use it.

But I plan on using it with my own status.net instance anyway. So I would be interstested in proper oauth URLs as well.

We can’t build this now, maybe a developer could fix it. The developer is surprised as it works for him with Eclipse. I don’t hv that so I can’t tell if he’s right.

The Tweetings app uses Twidere code and publishes their app on GP. Since they refuse to publish every version of the source code unless a GP customer who bought the app can provide evidence of purchase, we have decided to put the code on Github. It has GCM and a Aviary SDK with a weird EULA, so it wouldn’t be ready for immediate consumption for our users , but anybody is welcome to publish it here (with new name of course and their own Twitter keys).
