Markdown (or something) for descriptions

We need to be able to have nice formatting for the application descriptions (both in the client app and on the web site). Use markdown, or something like that?

    Really need syntax for apps' feature lists ;-)

    I'm not sure if Markdown is good choice, possibly on device using HTML would be easier, so just HTML subset...

    They use markdown on askubuntu.com so I learned it. Dont know any html, though I dont mind learning. Another option could be Mediawiki, since it's so prevalent. Cant comment on the technical aspects, though the feature set needed is really very small; especially now with our ~85 word limit in descriptions.

    Implemented. Documentation is in the manual. The web site and wiki are already using formatted descriptions. The next release of the client will use them as well.
