Collapse all but recommended version

At the moment, all versions are shown with an * next to the recommended version. Personally, I wouldn't install anything but the recommended version in nearly all cases. I assume that this would be even more the case for less technical users.
I therefore suggest that the main version is shown, with a collapsed "Other versions" entry for everything else.
At the moment the screen is quite confusing compared to Google's market.

Sounds like a good idea to me
i don't always use the latest versions, particularly when they become bloatware hugely increasing app size, resource requirements, unnecessary functionality, etc. many times older versions are much much smaller, faster, more efficient. please don't hide older versions.
for those who want to install the latest version, it is already at the top of the list. what more do you want??
Ive made a similar point too at http://f-droid.org/wiki/page/Show_permissions_before_install that there should be a new All Versions screen, or at the very least collapsing apk specific info like permissions.
IMHO a more specific string than "*" would suffice. For instance, switching it for "Recommended version" or "Current release" would let people know that they should be installing that one.
If we were to collapse all other versions, would we end up with just the install/upgrade/uninstall button at the top right corner, and the description view taking up the rest of the space?
Another option would be to collapse other versions by default only if not in expert mode. Because I would not like having to "expand" the other versions every so often.
