Caldav sync adapter is an open-source app giving a caldav adapter to Android (fully integrated in Android account management) enabling synchronisation of calendar will many caldav sources (one-way for the moment, waitting to have a stable app for all the servers before enabling two ways).

This sounds very useful! I suppose it would work with Owncloud? 🙂March 15, 2013 at 1:31 pm #6299
It works with ownCloud (reported by users)March 15, 2013 at 1:40 pm #6300
Ah, this is brilliant!
I’ll get to packaging it asap. Just one question – might I ask where do the jars in libs/ (apart from android-support) come from?March 15, 2013 at 4:22 pm #6304
I’ve gotten it to work. We’ll enable it as soon as we know the source of all the libs.
Just one last thing: I had to replace ‘/libs/’ by ‘libs/’ on proguard-project.txt, since (for some reason) ant release was not finding the libs. I am not familiar with Proguard, but I suppose you are to use relative paths rather than absolute ones. Am I wrong?
Cheers.March 15, 2013 at 5:43 pm #6306
We’ll call it GPLv3 but there isn’t any licence at all in the repository.
The backport jar is the same as the jar on mvnrepository not the sourceforge one. @mvdan you could always disable proguard: that’s what I would do anyway. Since the app works fine for you we’ll leave the build as it is. And I changed update mode to tags.March 15, 2013 at 5:49 pm #6307
@daithib8 I just grepped for “license”, and got a few apache2 matches. So I just went with that.
Disable proguard? How? Would it be better that way?
I thought update mode Market was preferable to avoid pre-releases.March 15, 2013 at 5:52 pm #6309
If we were doing auto updates market would be preferable, but otherwise I think not.
you can disable proguard from project.properties
gege says GPL at the top of this topic.March 15, 2013 at 9:50 pm #6318
Thanks for the work, I was using proguard to disable log calls for production release, you can ignore it I think
Concerning the license it is GPLv3 but you right I need to add file headers with the license, will be done soon…May 22, 2013 at 4:13 pm #7287
Thanks for the work. Will Zimbra be supported?

I’ve found a way of making a calendar entry which crashes the sync adaptor.
If you set up an entry which repeats the 4th Monday of every month, starting on 21/1/2013 and repeating until 31/12/2013 it causes a force close when refreshing in the calendar or syncing from Android’s Account menu.
If you need me to upload the vCal file then just let me know.
Thanks!July 3, 2013 at 12:32 pm #7769
Coule thd f-droid apk be updated to the latest version? This bug https://github.com/gggard/AndroidCaldavSyncAdapater/issues/53 is still present in the current f-droid version.
thanksJuly 3, 2013 at 12:37 pm #7770
@nodiscc: I don’t see why we should package a non-release version. We already have 1.7, which is the latest version available. If you want to have such a feature, either ask upstream to tag a new release or build from master yourself.July 4, 2013 at 11:34 am #7794September 4, 2013 at 10:15 pm #8624
