I just installed IceCatMobile 38.8.0 (2016-05-12) and I can’t connect to my Firefox Sync account. When I try to log in it just says “there was a problem” (actually, “Es trat ein Problem auf”). I can log in (using same IceCatMobile browser) with the same data on https://accounts.firefox.com/settings so it’s not a wrong password or something.
On my other devices I use Firefox and Sync works fine.

Mozilla killed old sync server…. So if i want to setup a custom sync server (old one) the IceCat Client freezes because it wait for a token what icecat will never get… because sync server are down forever…

Is the a chance that someone remove the code for connection? So we can use custom servers ?

I started, and maintain http://directory.fsf.org/wiki/IceCatMobile

However, you have to look a the official FTP archive: neither https://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/icecat/38.8.0/ or https://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/icecat/38.8.0-gnu2/ released icecatmobile.

F-Droid compiled and distributed 38.8.0 at https://f-droid.org/repository/browse/?fdfilter=icecatmobile&fdid=org.gnu.icecat, so they can be first to do this again for version 45.
