    Not on our side, but still something we would love to achieve – we just have a resource bottleneck on our side and nobody else seems to be able and wanting to work on this.

    I’m a total technical noob, but I’m willing to learn how to help this move along faster, because Kiwix is super important I think. I’ll read some of the manuals and get back to this.

    But this thread should be moved to the Submissions Queue, no? @krt

    That’s really nice of you, but I’m afraid this need high skills in compilation. For the rest, I don’t know how the admins of this forum want to see things organized.

    With some help from upstream and after they ported the build to a newer NDK, we can now build this app. We will publish it once they do a new release, which will include that NDK fix.

    FWIW, it seems a new release of Kiwix did appear in the repo briefly a couple of days ago, but when I came to try updating, it had completely disappeared from the list?

    Hi all,
    This is just to say, I see on google play there is a new version that, yes, sports the same full-text search as on the bigger machines 😎
    So… whoever can bring it here I’ll thank intensely 😉
