A document viewer built from the LibreOffice codebase, supporting documents, spreadsheets, and presentations in various file formats.

This downloads some tarballs when building, something that fdroid tries to avoid, so i added the “–enable-fetch-external=no” option, i’ve made a git repo (https://gitlab.com/Manizuca/LOTarballs) with the tarballs and i have “external/tarballs” symlinked to it. if there is a better way to avoid downloading files in the build process, please tell me

Also, the package name in the playstore is com.collabora.libreoffice, but the default one is org.libreoffice, any preference in what name use? im using org.libreoffice

Passing on a reply from Kendy (an expert):

    That’s the correct approch.

Also, the package name in the playstore is com.collabora.libreoffice, but the default one is org.libreoffice, any preference in what name use? im using org.libreoffice

The package name changed shortly before release and the correct one is com.collabora.libreoffice.

Many thanks for your assistance 🙂

Matías: How’s the building of LibreOffice going? Any more q’s for the developers?

    Thanks,
    –R

Hi @qubit. The merge request was accepted today (https://gitlab.com/fdroid/fdroiddata/commit/d575ebe83785f9df6098201c4ab9556b9cd2e268), but the Build Server needs some dependencies.
I added these options (–with-build-platform-configure-options=”–with-system-jpeg=no –with-system-libxml=no –with-x=no –disable-gconf –disable-python”) to remove several dependencies, but there are 3 that need to be installed in the server ( https://gitlab.com/fdroid/fdroidserver/merge_requests/42 ).

Will there be an x86 version?

    #14519

@shiba yes, but this week i cant add it as ill be moving home soon, and i dont like to add things to the BS without testing it locally.

I think that for the weekend it would be available (with the updated version for armv7)

This app could use an update when you get the chance.

Hi Guys, just to add that there have been several updates since the currently hosted F-Droid build, and there’ll be another significant update in the next two weeks.

Anything the app developers can do to make shipping updates to F-Droid faster?

The app was all Matias awesome work and he is hosting a repo for a needed part at https://gitlab.com/Manizuca/LOTarballs. If I get Osmand2.0.0 done this weekend, I might have a look at it, but I am not too fond of maintaining it…

Thanks krt; good luck with Osmand (looking forward to that too — it navigated me to Prague and back last weekend).
