    Name:ZipSigner
    Category:Development
    License:Apache2
    Web Site:https://sites.google.com/site/zipsigner/home
    Source Code:http://code.google.com/p/zip-signer/
    Issue Tracker:http://code.google.com/p/zip-signer/issues/list

    Summary:Signing zip, apk, and jars
    Description:
ZipSigner is an Android app for signing Zip, Apk, and/or Jar files on-board Android devices. Similar to jarsigner and signapk, this app can be used to sign update zip files, APK, or JAR files using one of the four built-in keys, or with your own private keys. The keystore and key creation features provide some of the same functionality as the Java keytool utility.

The built-in keys and auto-select modes allow rooted themers and modders to sign updates and modified APKs. Signing with private keys is an activity performed by developers in order to publish apps.

It’s set up to pull all his own libraries off maven central , but even then some artifacts are missing. With a little shuffling by the author the whole thing could be built easily from source, so maybe it’s worth asking. Until then, it’s way too much effort I think.

@daithib8 Maybe you can make the question more precise there.

He might not be aware that you are talking about the ZipSigner app. The main purpose of the repo is for the libraries.

I don’t like the idea of running an app that is only 10% built from source, 80% built by the developer, but that’s what it’s set up to do.

    I clarified the question.
