Lets do something about embedded scripts first. Those backslashes make scripts unreadable and painful to edit. Furthermore, fitting every script into single line is not always possible (some file formats don't even allow it!) Second thing to do is making some of commonly used lines redundant. This snippet:
<pre<noinclude></noinclude>>sed -ri 's/(debuggable)="true"/\1="false"/' AndroidManifest.xml</pre<noinclude></noinclude>>
is sensible for any package; fdroidserver should just do it automatically. Another redundant snippet:
find -L -regex ".+\.\(a\|dll\|so\|exe\|lib\)" -type f -delete
I wish it'd be possible to accomplish this with something like scanignore=autoclean. --AlexanderR (talk) 11:41, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
I'm doing it in this order for a reason. The other two things are good ideas, but not really related to this. We should log them in the issue tracker for later. CiaranG (talk) 17:22, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
